Shopping @ orchard road

was suppose to meet gwen but reached only at 11:30...was feeling kinda guilty and could see that she's quite tired already...so sorry...but was really heldup in the very last minute when i was about to go out...*sigh*...she was already paying for a green top when we got there and luckily she was quite forgiving and didn't get mad at me..for being late :) and we went on to take the train to twn... and so for the day out journey begins :D really quite happy to have gwen accompany me for today's shopping haha....its been so long since i last went to singapore well known orchard rd ~!! haha ...and boy did i have fun.. :) ..main objective for going to town today was to get a job and also to see if there's been any drastic changes in our ever colourful playground...most of the places are currently under renovations with little parts here and there blocked for the works....but everything else was as it was before the term tests...haha
went to heerens: sakae sushi coz gwen wanted to get some sushi to eat...was hoping to be able to go for the buffet but because she would have did of hunger by the time it was 3:30 so we just went ahead with the ala-carte... had afew coloured plates ...found the food alright...then i got adventurous and tried something really strande like the avocado temaki...something i really wouldn't dare take it if it wasn't for her recommendation...but the avocado temaki turned out to be the best thing i've ever tried after my favourite chwanmushi and vegetable tempura of course...but it was good nevertheless...would surely go for it again the texture and feeling when i put the temaki into my mouth was simply *wOw*...thanks girl... :)

after lunch we went on to shopping for the things that fellow forum angels have got me really hooked on....MU..haha...*evilgrinz* went to basic beauty...and was pleasently surprised to find that they've renovated the place and replaced all the proud and arrogant sales staff with new and much more pleasant people...could see that they're around our age and they treid to be really help explaining stuff that didn't have english translations...thumbs up for the new sales crew there...

gwen bought a rather interesting e/s palette coz it had so many colours...a blue mascara and a oil control compact powder...all seemed like really good buts coz all the stuff could be found at SASA too if i remembered correctly...haha...total damage IRRC was about $35+ would have bought something for myself too if i wasn't so tight on my budget....*sigh* but shall go there more often to see it there're any cheap steals coz the staff there are really quite friendly...

went to red earth opposite heerens with the intention of getting their colour correction concealors...but when we went there...no one actually acknowledged out presence...most of the staff busied themselves with other customers while others stood there pretending that they couldn't see us....so we just left the place without getting anything....like why should we get something from them when their service attitude was so terrible ..we also not desperate to get anything from there... (#_#)

we contemplated on getting jobs in one of the MU counters coz it would be so fun but never got about to any of those counters coz we lost focus the moment we stepped out of the train station... most of the stores that were not under renovations have been beautifully decorated to attract people like us to them and keep us trapped within... We didn't get to apply for any jobs because we were so busy looking at all the wonderful creations and also because we didn't feel comfortable in the store...had this strange feeling that everyone at the store was looking at us strangely today...wonder why... =( i thought i was the only one feeling watched but mt friend felt it too...*sigh* got a little worried...so we kept looking into the mirrors to see if we did look strange to anyone...but no...we didn't...so the feeling of being watched for so unjustified...

when we reached taka we walked through the MU counters without even taking a look at anything because gwen wanted to show me some straberry shortcake thing...i thought it was the doll that i have but she expolained to me that it was actually a piece of cake that i would love too because it was suppose to be much better and truly heavenly as compared to the avocado temaki... was feeling quite excited coz its been quite long since i found something this wonderful to try and now there was an even better thing... :D" the strawberry shortcakes was so light and fluffy that i though it must have been hand made....haha...didn't think it would be possible for a beating machine to beat such fluffy cakes... *marvelous* :D"" would definately go back for more... htere was even a ppiece of dry ice for us to play with after eating the cake...haha...actually it was something they used to keep the cake cool and prevent it from spoiling but naughty us we had other plans for it...*evilgrinz* we actully brought the dry ice into the ladies and dumped it into one of the vacant toiletbowls to see the effect water has on dry ice....it was fun initially but after awhile...the novelty wore off and we just pulled the flush to wash the carbonated water away....lol...went to fancl...coz gwen wanted to get the MU cleanser that was shown in the egg advert but didn't get the thing fro two reasons....one the salesgirls thought didn;t think that we were worth her time to help us and ordered her colleagure (must be her junior) to serve us...like how rude lor...she didn't even bother explaining to us that she was actally helping someone else and the stupid thing couldn't even remove a tiny mascara stain we got from the testers at basic beauty....

after the incident at fancl gwen and i walked to wisma which was the next place we wanted to go to...haha...stepped into quite a few boutiques who's service was poorer than those tiny shops found in bugis street... people go to town wanting to get something to pamper themselves and all they got was a few snide comments and weird stares?like wth...*sianz* and we thought forever21 would be better...but the people are the worse of the lot...esp the one standing at the changing room....was thinking of getting afew new tops there coz they looked nice...but that creature really put me off... she wouldn't even open her golden mouth to say anything to anyone... it was something like "snatch the hanger, remove the clothes and point to the door..." the tops i tried looked quite good...but i still don't want to get it....there would be more places selling tops similar to that place and i really hated the stupid attitude salegirl... gwen told me that she gave everyone that stupid 'prisoner-ish' treatment too...no wonder there wasn't many locals in the shop...who would want to buy things if they had a girl with such a stupid attitude...

TBS..haha one of my favourite stops wherever i go to...the place is a gem with so many products and scents you wouldn't have to get any health and beauty stuff from any other places...=x love their strawberry scented items...its nice...and been lemming for ther lipgloss but i simplay have too many....and i know its not going to be very useful since i've just learnt that such stuff have their own expiry dates....i shall just get it when i need it...haha...went to Sasa to look for my white liner coz i know the stuff they carry there can be trusted too...and also beacuse the one i bought from tfs were in bits the secnd time i opened it....was quite upset when i found the white bits broken and strewn in a haphazard way in my mu pouch...was realli pissed coz i think i know who the culprit might be....s[ent ages looking at the shelves trying to find a suitable white liner and found a brand new AC white liner...its great slides smoothly when drawn..love it
