Fireworks Night out with mi sqdmates

i made plans the night before to meet pri for a little shopping in town plus catch-up session over at her place before going to cafe iguana for dinner for dinner followed by partying at club momo...
and i was running late as usual and had to postpone the time due to the terribly cold and wet weather at my aunts place...it was pouring and the waters almost flooded the playground near my aunt's..so me and my dear had to sit around and wait for the rain to stop...
the time was not wasted as my my uncle suggested that we watch war of the worlds while waiting for the rain....the show was good...exactly like what i've seen in the cinema...haha...
and we had a really delicious beef curry rice made by all of us at home....haha....was my first time healping out with the curry and i was glad that everything turned out great.
well it was not really a night out with my whole squad but i was a night out nevertheless...

reached kovan at around 5 and met pri @ heartland to shop around before we actually made our way to her place...haha...can't stop myself from looking at things...we chatted and updated each other about the facts of our(me,her our sqdmates) lives..haha missed everyone so much adn thats when i got my sudden urge to call everyone up to see if they could meet for dinner at iguana's...haha talk about me being last minute... =p called everyone but only managed to get theo to join us....the others were either doing their fyp, at church or at the national day preview...*sigh*...


watched mtv till i almost fell asleep when D arrived talked and waitined for lin to call back to confirm ...T had also arrived when lin finally called back haha...only then did we realize that pri hasn't called to make reservations @ iguana's yet....and when we called we were put to the answering machine...they called back to inform us that they were fully boooked like 1hr after we called shucks...
pri hurriedly scanned through the phone book to look for a suitable place and when we found sizzling rock...made a reservation for 8 but three of them couldn't make it at the end...ohwell....not a very good start for the evening but was still quite optimistic about the night...

....finally reached went to sizzling rock with my friends...the overall comment was that the food was so-so... and their service was not as good as what i heard from my other friends.the 3 of us ordered steak while the others ordered the baby chicken chop and the salmon thing .we took quite a long to decide what to order and waited patiently for food to be served...and presentation for the food was ok but my friends and i had a hard time cutting the steak... it was harder than we ordered and they didn't give us a steak knife...

-End of TEST WEEK-

ahahahaha....i'm going mad...with the fact that i have a one week break coming just next week....YES~!!! now i can revamp my room...my study table and all my other stuff so that the place looks fresh...haa....feeling so bored witht he way things are and i want to change the way everything looks...not structurally or re-doing anything drastically though...probably some re-arranging of furnitures for some space re-allocation....gawd i can't wait for everthing to be finished...i will do it myself if i have to stay home the whole day... i won't tolerate another day of playing nice with that irritating creature anymore...hate it...arh...
enough of the bad and negative stuff....already...
have to start thinking positive or else someones going to start calling me ms grumpy again...

hahaha.....its here...its finally here... the long awaited harry potter book 6 is finally here in singapore...went to popular jst now but the adult version was all sold outand the next shipment will only be in by next week...can't wait to go get it....

was surfin CC just no and i chance upon a thread talking about the expiry dat of cosmetics...read the whole thread i i was quite amazed to find out the that makeup expires so quickly...especially mascaras...wonder why...now i know why people keep saying that some cosmetics oxides really quickly...some lasts for years some months and some a mere few weeks..now starting to wonder which of my makeup has acutally oxidised and for how long isit rotting...i can't imagine...=/

SPRING CLEANING TIME~!!
ahaha....i intend to clear my mu drawers so that i can buy new stuff....ahaha...its wasteful but its gone bad already...so no choice...hehe...(^-^)

A lesson hard learnt...

today's a sad day...i learnt something terrible and now i'm feeling the aftermath of it... the bitter sense of betrayel is as bitter as i can remember it the last time...don't wish to say much about it but need a place to let out this bitterness too....so here it is...i'm feeling quite miserable today and right now... (-_-)

Study break

haha....just came back from my 3days 2nights studying frenzy from my aunt's place....it was a rather peaceful time without my annoying my sister bugging me all the time...really enjoyed studying there...could feel that the facts are actually going in...haha..

taught daniel his piano...and he's still trying to breeze through the class without practicing in advance....no improvements from him again...as usual...i wonder isit something wrong with him or is the problem with me...he doesnt' seem to be improving at all....so i made him practice and practice and practice to makeup for all the lost practice time....

he practiced till his fingers got too tired to do anything else other than playing computer games....sheesh...what a lousy brat...he better stop thinking that he can pass the song without practicing...gawd and his posture is atrocious...who ever taught him how to hunch his back like a tortise to play with his chopstick fingers...but at the end of the three 'make him pay back those missing practices' days he improved one teeny weeny little bit its not significant but he did at least improve...sense of accomplishment for not wasting my aunt's money...haha...

one the 2nd day of practice he improved a summore so i decided to reward him with a few hours outing to hg mall... we went to the library for the kids to borrow and return their books and then we went grocery shopping at the ntuc in the basement to get next weeks supply of food for her household...she shopped there for about 2-3 hrs +...and only after this experience did i understand why my aunt had to scrimp and save on all the luxuries....her family is not big(4 ppl) but she has to do grocery shopping for 6 ppl coz of their (live-in house help and her daughter)...even after we scrutinized the shelves of munchies and compared the prices of the items they were getting...the total bill came up to a hefty sum of $126++... i was quite shocked but my aunt said that was the norm as their family eats and uses alot...

after buying the grocery shopping we went to bangawan solo to get some snacks for the kids...and that was the appetizers for their KFC dinner...my aunt and i decided to order the family feast, a large ice lemonade and 4 warm plain water....i can't say that the meal was enjoyable or anything coz the kids were giving my aunt a hard time...running around asking for more things....gosh... i didn't know it was that hard to look after them until after these few days...

after dinner we carried everyting home and sorted out the items before we continued studying....wsa quite tired but was motivated to study because we could watch madagascar after we finished doing our 'jobs'...haha the show was really short but was packed with funny jokes and actually had a meaningful message within....haha...strange that i couldn't identify a hero in this particular show...but i love alex the lion...find that marty the zebra is stupid...
sigh....

i really joyed the comapany of both my cute and charming cousins daniel and hugo...the former's a stubborn brat that doesn't listen to anyone unless they have the cane in hand while the latter is a naughty little imp that thinks he can smile his way out of doing things like helping out with the chores...reminds me so much of the past...when i didn't have anything but cartoon timings to bother about...haha....i like to say that even with their little shortcomings they are still so much better compared to my sis...that evil girl...has caused more damage to everyone at home than
anyone outside other than my dear knows...she terribly mean to all of us even to my mum...*sigh* i can't wait to get a home for me and my mum to stay in.. and leave her to herself... hate the weird things she accuses us of doing and not doing...all of us got so bored of hearing it that i totally switch of when she starts her daily rants and raves....oh well...what to do she's my sister what...

~Start of My Test Week~

*sigh* i'll be having my test in less than a day's time but now still cant get anything into my head...don't know whats wrong with me...can't seem to concentrate properly..don't have the confidence to do the test yeti'm still not motivated enough to start my studying proper...=/

currently learning spanish from my friend living in Menorca Island of Spain..i was puzzled when when i asked her which part of spain did she live in and she told me "islas baleares in menorca" so i asked her what was she trying to say and
this is her explaination: "The islands inhabi tants of the Balearic Islands it is the set of menorca, mallorca, ibiza and formentera". Only then did i know the Spain actually had islands and they are known as the Balearic Islands...wow~...haha...this is enlightening...

I played Maple as i chatted with her cause she was also busy chatting with her other friends..and as we chatted she taught me how to use some spanish words while i told her more about singapore...jeje...gracias prof,diver divertido muy guay...jeje (^-^)

Encounter with Maple Story

it took a few good comments, cool actions and cute pictures and i am sold to the ever famous internet game:Maple Story.

its kinda cool..fun and its FREE...*haha*...i think thats the extra perk every broke net game junkie liek mi bro likes the most abt...

well its nice and cute...and best of all is...i tink i'm addicted to it....been playing it for the past 4 days and this the is only thing that gets me home early like 9+ =x *haha*...
duno what wrong with me...but i do get a kick of of killing those cute lil monsters like this "green slime"...coz thats the only way i can earn some experience points to level up and get stronger...haha...dont understond why is this cute creature given sucha disgusting name...but guess thats just part of the game...(^-^)

was quite surprised to fine that quite afew of my friends are also playing this game and in the midst of completing game quest... *haha* sounds so fun...maybe shall find a common time to ask everyone online to play the game together....*haha*...more fun..shall have to start thinking of a list of people to ask...hmm...wonder who will be interested to join me during my 1wk term break..intending to try and catchup with my stupid brother and go for my 2nd job advancement like my baobao said...hee..

~~*Sweet Memories*~~ A certain sense of accomplishment

Strange that at the end of the day i still managed to feel a certain sense of accomplishment for having been able to not let my guil overcome my sense of commitment towards my project...
think its all thanks to my dear and also my proj pres grpmates coz they were like supporting me all day long...
though i skipped mrs ti's valuation to do my slides i still managed to get a job well done from my fyp facilitator on the standard of work and details for my grps direction for the contents page.
and also my rwp lect's approval on the right direction and the relevants of the topic of my grps presentation slides...though it was rather straessful...i tink i managed to pull it off quite well being my grp's smallest but most confident girl i would say that my grp has done a great job though we encountered some difficulties in accomodating the time for our slide presentation practices...its a job well done....

Ladies though our slides were not as impressive as the grp right before us but i think we did our best and managed to to show our strength as a grp....and i'm really proud of us today....*grinz*....kalai...can pls send the pics in ur cam to everione?.....will treasure it properly coz this is our grp's first presentation together...though i'm sure there are more presentations to come but this is our first and we did great...*haha...i'm overwhelmed by my grps 1st success*....
haha..duno what else to say le...

Loss of Precious Memories...

horrid day...i lost my hp in the cab that i took to sch this morning...hate it...and its all the fault of the stupid taxi driver...that idiot literally shooed me and my baobao off e cab after we paid him and zoomed off...thus resulting in my misfortune of having lost my dear's hp...
its the nicest phone of his and it was the first phone that i helped him choose...
that beauty was his pride and joy coz he bought it for me to use...but now i lost in the terrible cab...and it was not thanx to the customer service dept of the cab company that i suffered such a huge loss...
all the pics...video clips and music that i have painstakingly took,filmed and recorded...all gone down the drain...i feel terrible for having lost all those...the damn idiot can have the stupid phone if he wants it but i wan all the precious pics,videos and sound clip....cause they do have sentimental values...all the nice memories...lost...feeling so sad over the loss...and i don't know what to do....

immediately after i realised i left my phone in the cab i called the cab co. but the stupid idiot who picked up the phones still can tell me to wait...den gave me another number(customer service dept) to call...and this stupid number that fella gave me was not answered at all...i was close to tears...when my dear called back the 1st number i dialed on his phone and screamed at the dumb creature for giving us the number of a never ending answering machine

....only then did the dumb 1 try to do something about my case... though all they did was take down my dear's name, description of the phone:siemens white SL65 in furry purple and pink flower patterned drawstring hp pouch the taxi's licence plate number, the time i boarded and time i left the cab...i have all these info coz i have this habit of collecting the reciepts from the cabby....but this obnoxious idiot actually denied having found my phone in his cab...dumbass claimed that he had picked up several passengers right after my dear and i got off so he could answer the phone....mi dear and pres grpmates(ba,kalai,faz) were busy bombing my lost phone with calls hoping the person who found it would pickup return it but the dishonest freak actually switched off my phone...feeling damned pissed as there was no way i could get back my phone now...and i had other commitments to do...namely going for class and preparing my speech and my presentation slides...no more mood to do anything le coz i was so guilty for losing my dear's hard saved phoned...sad....
the only thing i can do now is to save up $500+ to buy him his dream phone...sigh....feeling so sad.... fo losing the phone...don't think my dear will understand how i feel coz he thinks thats whats lost will never be found...ohwell...i duno what to say...still feeling stunned....but will have to start saing $$ for his dream phone le...coz my dear has expensive taste....
